Project: 28303 &Model Publication: &Model Projects
Brief:
From January 2013 to June 2017, &Model the collective project of Chris Bloor, James Chinneck and Derek Horton, presented an ambitious and international programme of exhibitions and residencies at their gallery space 19 East Parade in central Leeds.
In 2019 to celebrate the East Parade building and document the 5 years of exhibitions they approached Pressision with the concept of producing a book vintage in appearance. Pressision referenced a number of paper swatches before recommending Tatami for its shade and feel, also advising to rule back the screen line, print in halftone and to take remove the crease line from the front & back cover. Resulting in an aesthetically superb publication that combines documentation, interviews, fiction and new visual works, the book has content by Will Corwin with Jo Melvin, Fay Ballard and the &Model team, with design by Liam Johnstone with Chris Bloor.
